OUR STORY

Notorious Morepork was born out of 2 guys love for meat.  Back in 2018, Mike Covich & Clint Davies were competing in BBQ competitions around NZ and met while drinking beers waiting for their BBQ to smoke.  It was "bro" love at first site.  From then on the two were constantly talking meat and burgers.  And we mean CONSTANTLY.  At that time, Clint owned Morepork BBQ and Mike started the Notorious P.I.T. BBQ team but always found themselves working together at BBQ events across Auckland.  After years of talking about opening a burger joint together, they finally opened a pop up shop in Whangamata in 2022 and after a successful summer, came home to West Auckland to open their flagship store, Notorious Morepork.  We guarantee you'll feel the love these bros have poured into their menu, so dig in!
